This project arose as a tribute to my grandfather, Luis Enrique Cárdenas.
The initial brief consisted of researching a topic that I was passionate about and with which I would relate personally, the topic selected was the analog photography and specifically I decided to analyze the collection of photographs that my grandfather
had in his house. It is a collection with more than 500 analog photographs, which he took throughout his life, these are divided between family photos and photos he took because he wanted to capture what he was seeing at that moment.
The proposal
It was decided to generate a character, who was a superhero. Since in this way I saw my grandfather as a child, even though I grew up in a certain way I still see him in the same way. This led me to mix the stories behind their photos with fantastic stories, thus generating new narratives. To communicate these new narratives was made
the design of an experience, where through collage illustrations (where a part of the story will be shown) and new stories narrated by my grandfather. All this in a booth set with objects of my grandfather, in order for the person to have an immersive experience.
How did I become a superhero?
Today I decided to start this journal to tell my experience being a superhero. My family doesn’t know about this yet, and I’m gonna keep it a secret so I don’t worry them, or raise expectations.

However, I will keep track of everything that happens to me, my adventures and my process of becoming a superhero

What will my logo be?
The first and most basic thing a superhero should have is a logo; however, which one is right for me?. What are my powers?.

After thinking about it for a long time, I considered my power to "freeze time"; when I do this I like to take a picture at that time, so that it will be translated for posterity and in this way remember that moment forever.

From understanding what I can do and seeing
various superhero logos I designed mine.

Where am I gonna put my super suit?
Since I’ve decided that my family won’t find out I’m a superhero, I must have a place to change to hide my identity when I go out on the street to live my adventures.

To develop this space I base myself on the phone booth where Superman changes his identity from Clark Kent to this iconic superhero. However I sought to appropriate it and give it my personal touch; so I decided to make a fusion of this booth with the concept of the darkroom of photography, which should be a place where no light enters. Therefore,
my own space arose to protect my identity.

My stories
Next I will tell you some of my experiences as a superhero to leave a record of my adventures and so someday reveal to my family and friends the truth of my mysterious disappearances.
How to tell these stories?
After my retirement I wondered how could I show my stories to the world? , what would be the best way to tell them? Here are some of the ideas I came up with:

1. In my booth in which I change I will place the phone to which they call me when the city needs my services, on this phone answering it will randomly reproduce my stories so that people can hear them and in addition to these you will find iconic photos of those events so that people can better understand the stories that are
told.

2. In my booth in which I change to place this free one which contains my stories and additionally place the iconic photos of such events so that people can better understand the stories that are told, however this will be accompanied by a podcast which will set each chosen story, helping in this way to immerse the user in thestory they want to read.

The day we change the country
Today was my first time as a superhero. When I woke up, I still didn’t know what adventures I would live. However, I had heard before, that in the center of the city were going to demonstrate people for the disagreement with the government of the president. When I arrived at the site I was surprised because it was a massive demonstration; the streets were full of people showing their discontent, however, at that time emerged from very far tanks and smat, with which the government demonstrated its repressive and almost dictatorial character. It was in that moment that I take the decision to do something and use my powers to prevent this from happening to adults, so I stopped time and removed all the people who were at that time from the path of the tanks. After this I faced the then president who did not want to leave power; however after an epic duel to the death in which only one could leave alive, I managed to win and change in this way forever the way in which politics is made in this country since from this moment the government understood that they should govern for the people and not for their personal interests. From that moment I earned recognition in this city, which has welcomed me for so many years.

The day we won the World Cup
Time after my last recorded adventure in this diary, I traveled as a player with the Colombia team for the World Cup in England in 1966. We were quite excited to bring a trophy home, with the sole aim of cheering people up and making them distract themselves for a while from all the problems afflicting the country. Everything started very well, we won two of our first three games (against Cameroon and Spain) and tied the
third (against Yugoslavia) which was enough to qualify us first in our group.

We were a great team, none of us played in big teams in other countries, we all played in Colombia; besides this we did not have a great player as if they had other teams, However, when we entered the court, we forgot all this and played with our heart and with our sole aim of bringing joy to the country. In the round of 16 we faced the local team (England) and although it was complicated, in the final minutes we managed to win, qualifying in this way to semifinals against Holland and then to semifinals against Uruguay which we surpassed without major problem. Everything we had dreamed of was finally being fulfilled, we were 90 minutes away from filling a country with joy; we were facing in the final against Brazil, it was a closed match, where neither of us left much space, it was the 85th minute and it was near the end of the game and we were attacking more than they at that time granted us a corner shot in favor, my heart was beating fast and as soon as I saw my partner kicked the ball I ran to the center of the area and jumped at that moment I used my power to stop time and I positioned myself in the best way possible to score the goal; when I resumed time, I closed my eyes and I let it all happen. A couple of seconds later I opened my eyes and found that I had scored goal. It was a moment of ecstasy; the whole stadium was screaming and ecstatic, a couple of minutes later the game was over and I couldn’t believe that we were "world champions". Everything we wanted we had achieved, the joy we so much seek for our country was finally a reality.

The day we made the Statue of Liberty for Bogota
Some time after my last adventure recorded in this diary, I was in the city of Bogotá, in the factory of which I was owner. At that time, this factory worked with metal making everything from office modules to shelves for large supermarkets. However after my previous adventures and the fame achieved, I was contacted by the French government with a special request to give recognition to the Colombian people after winning the
world cup, which consisted of performing the replica of the Statue of Liberty, of course not the same size as the one given to New York City (93 m) but a statue of 3 meters high maximum, to place it on the rooftops of the La Candelaria neighborhood of the city of Bogota, which would allow them to exhibit them in a constant way and integrate them with the landscape of the city.

Once the special order was received, work began on these statues, but after a couple of weeks, an ordinary day occurred the unthinkable in the factory; one of the giant boilers containing the boiling copper broke loose, falling on the employees who were working at the time. It was at that moment that I knew I had to act and avoid disaster, so I ran to put on my suit and use my power to get people out of the building and prevent someone from dying. However, the production plant was completely destroyed and the replicas of the statues we had carried so far were lost; in the face of what happened, the French government decided not to continue with the gift they wanted to give to the city of Bogotá.

However, that day despite all that happened I received his most sincere congratulations, plus an invitation with all the expenses paid to run in Formula 1, particularly at the Monaco Grand Prix as they had learned of my great passion for cars and wanted to reward
my heretical work in this way.

The day I won the Monaco Grand Prix
After a time of my last recorded adventure in this diary, I travel to the Principality of Monaco to fulfill the invitation of the French ambassador to save the people in the factory.

It was a long and non-stop plane ride, which I decided to do only surrounded by my family, which has been my main weakness. Once I arrived in Monaco I learned that I would race for the Ferrari team; the French government had reached an agreement with them to let me compete, thus fulfilling my biggest dream: "to run with a car of this team". I got a pretty quick introduction to how to drive this car, because it was different from what I was used to; it had buttons everywhere, it looked like a spaceship!. I set out to understand how this car worked and to practice as long as possible since the race was the next day so I was practicing until late at night without rest, until I thought I was totally ready for the challenge that was coming.

The next day, I got up and barely had breakfast from how anxious I was, yet I was ready to compete. When I got to the track I put on my uniform, my helmet and got in the car; I took a deep breath to calm down, my dream was about to be fulfilled. Starting and despite my efforts I did not do the best demonstration, however with the passage of the laps everything began to improve, also counting on a little luck, I managed to overtake some rivals until I placed in second place; I was already in the last lap, in a constant fight for the first place, it was not known who would arrive first to the finish line, so I decided to give everything of myself, I took a deep breath and I concentrated on changing the speeds of the car quickly and it happened "I won the lap"I couldn’t believe it! I was the new champion of the return to Monaco a dream that came true thanks to my good deeds and without the help of my powers.

From that moment on I decided that the adventures lived had been enough and I withdrew from my life as a superhero; however, if the world needs my powers again, I will be there to run to its rescue.
